In May 2025 we refurbished the GCM Coffee Lounge (previously Revive), in Eastgate Shopping Centre.
In 2020 we had a fantastic opportunity that we couldn't turn down, to change the use of the unit we had been using for 6 weeks over Christmas 2019 as a donation drop-off point, to a Coffee Shop.
The GCM Coffee Lounge is a place to relax, enjoy ethically sourced hot drinks, homemade cakes and treats or cold drinks whilst supporting our work. We do a mean toastie with homemade coleslaw too!
But it is also more than that. It is a place where we can offer employment, volunteering and training opportunities to people who have lived experience of homelessness and/or addiction.
Upstairs is our commercial kitchen where we run the Street Teams out of (5 days a week), plus we offer opportunities to get involved with baking and cooking for the Homeless Day Provision and Hot Food Service.
