This year's Survive the Night will be our best and biggest event ever. We are looking to get as many people across the City sleeping out overnight on (or around) World Homeless Day,Thursday  10th October 2019.

We are looking for Companies, Churches, Schools, Individuals Families, Organisations or anyone to sleep at their workplace overnight and raise money for Gloucester City Mission.

We are also offering people the opportunity to sleep out at in The Shed Kingsholm Stadium but places are limited and participants must be over 18. Please contact us for more info.

Here at the Mission, we run a day centre for people living rough or in temporary accommodation. In the centre we serve meals, have shower facilities, washing machines, run a clothes store, give out drinks, advice, support and activities to help people. We average around 75 clients per week coming to use our centre. We have a small staff and 65 volunteers.

We also run the City's Winter Shelter. This past winter we were open for 122 nights. We saw 103 people staying with an average of 13 people staying per night.

As well as running the centre we also go out on the streets every Saturday run Project Beacon where we support people sleeping rough with food, clothes, toiletries and support.

We regularly visit churches, schools and organisations to talk about the work that we do as well as having groups in to find out more about us and help out.
