This year will be the seventh year that Gloucester City Mission has run a Winter Shelter for the homeless and vulnerable in our city.

This year we have extended our opening time to include the month of November so that shelter will be open for 153 nights and instead of having up to 12 beds will now have up to 15. It will cost us over £46,000 to run the shelter, this includes staffing, food, bills, insurance and general running costs but it saves lives every year so is worth every penny.

We are looking for help to run this year's shelter and would like to ask for sponsors for beds for the night. £25 will sponsor a bed and cover the full costs of getting someone off the streets for a night. This includes dinner, breakfast, packed lunches, toiletries, laundry, showers and clothing plus treats.
